The terms for using Hasanats
A free service
Hasanats is a free service. You do not pay for prayer times, khutbahs, your garden, or the other features in the app.
Religious content: handled with care, not a fatwa institute
We handle religious content with care, but Hasanats is not a fatwa institute and makes no rulings on behalf of a scholar. For religious questions that go beyond what the app shows, it is best to consult a scholar you trust.
Prayer times are calculations
The prayer times in Hasanats are calculations, based on coordinates and a chosen method. Your own mosque may keep a slightly different time for practical reasons. When in doubt, follow the time of your mosque, not the app.
What we do not allow
Do not use Hasanats to scrape, to spam, or to abuse the service in any other way. Never use someone else's voice or content without permission. We may restrict or close accounts that go against this.
Mosque data: suggestions and corrections
Suggestions and corrections to mosque data submitted by users are reviewed editorially before we apply them. We do not automatically adopt everything that is sent in.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the extent Belgian law allows. We do our best to keep Hasanats correct and reliable, but cannot guarantee absolute accuracy at every moment.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we record that on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
